Naah! Wouldn't recommend that with a small kid in tow. I'd would instead suggest you to visit Rishikesh from Delhi. Comfortable buses ply all day long on that route. Travel time is just 5hrs and costs 350-500 Rs per head. Accomodations are also cheap. Look for Sant Seva Ashram in Rishikesh, Lakshman Jhula. Rs.1000/- per night. Lots of places to see there plus it's situated at the banks of the Ganges. The route to the Himalayas begins there so it's sort of a spiritual hill station. Definitely worth a 2-3 day visit.

Suggesting places to visit in India is a really tough question to answer because of the sheer amount of variety available. I guess the two ends - Ladakh and Kashmir in North and Kerala in South are a must. You will get to see the Himalayas in a slightly cold October and you will get to see the Arabian sea in tropical Kerala and its back-waters. You will get two experience two different cultures, two different languages, two different climates and ultimately the diversity India has.

Visit Dharamshala (Himachal Pradesh). Situated in the laps of Himalayas, you'll have a great time here. It has a perfect mix of nature and development, which works in case you have a toddler with you, else i would have suggested more off the beat places. The skies are clear here, great weather and the view is to die for. It's the home of his holiness dalai lama. You can enjoy local vegetarian cuisine here (called dham) which is very special here. Also explore Tibetan cuisine around the town. You'll have a much relaxed time here. Less pollution, less noise and friendly people. Hope you have a great time traveling in India

I suggest you divide your indian trip into two halves- North and South....you are currently in North....and the places accessible from Delhi are rajasthan where you people are at present... Punjab( Amritsar) is the next logical step......then consider visiting Rishikesh(Uk- uttarakhand 😜)... MacLeodganj and Dharmshala in Himanchal but I must say there are a lot more places to visit in Rajasthan itself and same is the case with every state of India cz its enormously diverse but I understand...... Then head towards states of South India.... And Nye has been great as usual....I mean there are tons of vloggers in KZbin but idea of with travelling with family is great and courageous

16:30 (An Indian here) The very concept of "fast food" was developed in west - where they had no time to cook etc. due to rapid industrialisation. In India we've always relied on properly cooked food, so not much of "indian origin fast food". If at all there might be any "indian origin fast food", it would definitely be inspired from west. Like "aloo tikki burger" - an innovation by Macdonalds (an American fast food buisness) was done to suit the Indian sensibilities. S Tldr: There is no "concept" itself of Indian Fast Food. p.s. I'll be happy to correct myself if my fellow Indians could tell otherwise! 😀
