@@matilde_5 You can either take Preston's Minutemen Hat from him and give it to MacCready, or you can find a Militia Hat in a few places around the commonwealth. It can sometimes be found on dead Minutemen or it can be bought from some clothing vendors.

why do they call The Castle, Fort Independence? I thought Fort Independence was in FO3?

Fort independence is heavily based off a real fort in Boston by the same name. Though now that you mention it, i'm almost certain that Fo3 also had a fort by that name.
