Party Foods Including Almond Croissants

I'm having a little party tonight, and I need an elegant pastry, so here it is: Almond Croissants
** recipe starts at 10:42.
Almond Croissants
10 store bought Croissants
1 stick softened butter
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1/2 tsp lemon juice
2 eggs
1 cup almond mill
1 Tbls ap flour
Sliced almonds
Powdered Sugar
*Preheat oven to 350°
*Mix with hand mixer the butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and lemon juice until nice and fluffy. Add in almond mill and ap flour.
Slice croissants in half. Spread the almond mixture on Croissants and put the top back on. Spread more mixture on top and sprinkle with sliced almonds.
*bake for 15 to 20 minutes and the dust heavily with powdered sugar.

Hi Leslie. I went on an almond croissant binge when you first posted the recipe after your vacation. The only thing added was a half teaspoon of almond extract along with the vanilla. They are so delicious!

They would have to be waterproof to wear them when bathing or swimming. I don't sleep well in my stud earrings. They are waterproof resin ones but they make my ears hurt when I side sleep. I usually flop from my back to my side throughout my sleep. Plus could be inconvenient when going through a full body security scanner. My sister's bra sets them off. I wear a wire free one. They look delicious.

Those treats look delicious, I suggest replacing the filling with dark or milk chocolate then heat enough to melt the chocolate as an alternate.
