I personally invite you to Chicago…we had somewhat of a heatwave at 20* today after we just had 8 inches of the white stuff and below -0* temps last week 🥶🥶🥶…. Your meal looked amazing. First...I love the candle light! I'm a pyromaniac at heart and have always loved lighting candles and roaring fires! And not to mention the wonderful scent in the air it makes...they really should make a room spray that smells like burnt matches...Lol! It all looked soooo good! When you make your next "themed" meal you should try your hand at Greek! You love feta and they use feta in a lot of their dishes...yum! Ooooo...and baklava is easier than you think to make and it incorporates yummy nuts (usually walnuts but pecans would be good too).

Your meal looked just like Olive Garden......but made with love!! We have a Christmas luncheon each year for the widows of our church....we make the meal and serve them and make gift bags and purchase door prizes......we have our husbands act as valets and park their cars and walk them in, then come back later to bring their cars around and take them out. They love the food and the attention. This past year we made chicken tetrazinni, but we used spiral pasta to make it easier to eat. It was delicious and the 40 sweet widow ladies had so much fun.

Awesome video, Leslie! What a beautiful Italian feast! Such a lovely blessing. It is bitter cold up here in Maryland as well. We had about 5 inches of snow last week. I’m ready to send it down to you guys now, I think I’m finished with it now lol Thankfully we are supposed to get up into the 60’s at the end of the week. I live in north western Alabama and we had the snow you wished for. We got snow on Monday and have been trapped at home since. No school, no mail, stores are closed and the ones open (even Walmart) have no fresh produce, milk eggs meat frozen foods soft drinks bread. Leslie, be careful what you wish for. 5 inches of snow in the south is crippling.

I use a plastic cake cutting knife I have to chop lettuce. The metal on the knife is what browns it faster. But, I like my lettuce cut small. Actually my favorite is shredded. In my area they’re called sub (hoagie) salads. Kinda like chef salad but shredded lettuce. If you put a paper towel or napkin in your lettuce bag in the fridge it’ll last a lot longer too

Our weather is cold just in the teens with wind chill in the single numbers bitter cold here in the North ….. tomorrow we warm up to the thirties thank you God ….I can handle snow but the cold is horrible on my nerve damage ….I love tiramisu in the summer my family go to an ice cream parlor and they get Ice cream I get tiramisu….e
