Party Gras Parade at Disneyland (1990)

"Party Gras Parade Parade at Disneyland from January 11 to November 18, 1990. Disney’s version of Mardi Gras in New Orleans, this parade featured large floats, stilt-walkers, dancers and performers, who would toss special Party Gras coins and strings of beads out to the guests. The parade would stop at intervals and a special performance would be given."

I worked in Tomorrowland Attractions in 1990 and I loved doing guest control for that parade. It was always a lot of fun and the guests would really get into it.

Disney’s Party Gras Parade Was Closed At Disneyland Anaheim and Tokyo Disneyland and Moved To Disneyland Park In Paris, Hong Kong Disneyland, and Shanghai Disneyland
