I love it! Being invited to his house for some vodka and seeing his garden is the way to experience the true culture. My wife is Bulgarian and when I visit I get to experience the same thing, having drinks with locals and experiencing the culture. My mother is from Ladan, we leaved in Kiev and now I moved to Germany. I've spent my sommers in Ladan when I was a kid. When I saw that you are in Priluki, I jumped on my chair. When you said that you are going to Ladan I gasped. When i saw the sign "Ladan", i cried. Nostalgia hit me hard. As far as I know, people in there are very good and warm. Hope you liked it there. It's shocking to think what is happening in these places now, but it also inspires me to think men of Sergei, probably himself involved in the fierce resistance Ukranians are now putting up to defend their homeland..
