I honestly did not think you would play my cousin’s song Mi Gente! My family misses him so much. Till this day I watch all of our home videos with him in it. My fav was when Hector was in the studio with Willie Colón or when my mom was a young kid and he was teaching her how to dance Salsa. I was born in PR and only lived there until I was 5. Grew up in south Florida. Then I went back and lived in Arecibo for 2.5 years before my husband got a job transfer to Arizona and I'M DYIIIIING to move back. Those 2.5 years made ALL the love for my beautiful culture and island come flooding in. Also, my youngest child was born in Arecibo so it's even more special...just need to get back asap.
