My husband is Puerto Rican I'm Mexican, when I visited PR I literally learned all these words in 2 weeks! My daughter always says " Yo soy Boricua pa que tu lo sepa" Puerto Rican's are very proud of where they come from! And I'm glad I found your channel, love your videos!!! ❤️

I'm an 18 y/old borimexican. And I know a couple other people exactly like me whom even are older. I was raised in Puerto Rico. And I have mexican family. So yes puerto ricans actually mix with other races😑I even have a cuban/puerto rican friend. So please stop making a mess of the puerto rican culture basically saing that we're racist or something like that. Because in fact it is the other way around. And I am just as Puerto Rican as any other full Puerto Rican🇵🇷💪🏻

One of my favorite song lyrics, "Yo sería Borincano, aunque naciera en la luna." I'd be Puerto Rican even if I was born on the moon! No matter where we are born we are proud of our culture, identity, and experiences as puertorriqueños!

Latinos in general are very resilient and strong people. No one and nothing can keep us down. We will get back up, keep fighting and move on. Just because you aren't FROM PR it's in your heart. Just like although I wasnt born in Mexico it's in my heart. WEPA!

I love these videos so much! I am 100% Puerto Rican, born in NY as well. Lately, I have been struggling so much with the very thing you addressed at the end of this video about "not being Puerto Rican enough" or whatever bs. These videos brought me the reminder of the Boricua in me no matter where I was born and raised and the last quote you said gave me so much life!! Thank you for this

WEPA is a Puerto Rican word that is used when you are celebrating or having fun. Being a Nuyorican the word Guillao is a word we use when a person is hiding something from you. it could be a thing or a secret.

I looked at her dead in her face and said, so si tu viajas en cinta a China y tienes tu bebe aya, tu nene/nena es Chino? She didn't have anything to say after that. lol Got eeeeem!

I love the part about Ahora y ahorita. One of my partner moved to Texas from New York as a manager at Walmart in Dallas. She told one of the Spanish workers who was from Mexico to move some pallets. She was furious when he had told her” Ahorita” And he walked away. Later came back with the pallet jack LOL.

Can you do Spanish lessons, to help learn the language?
@AnimalLover2400
@AnimalLover2400 7 жыл бұрын
Ana Torres Spanish is a very easy language to learn, (I am 100% fluent in spanish) all you really need is classes and constant exposure which is what you can get through telenovelas or any spanish language media. Also, there are a lot of really good videos on youtube on grammar and learning spanish, imo it is much easier to just have someone teach you, but if you are determined enough you can basically teach yourself through online resources and just reinforce what you learn through telenovelas.
