As Much as I love MetalFortress's cover, i'd still not say he deserved the win 100% =D His Song and Video really are something else, so yeah it kinda feels natural that he won but a few of the contestants and among them you(!) made amazingly awesome songs and i dont really know what it is Metalfortress did to get the edge everyone seems to see/feel, but daaaamn you are close to that in qualitiy no question! youve got a realy cool own style and what you are doing just has a great feel to it! its on the same level as the winner imho! he has his own style, too and made something better this time but damn you are great!

The lead part and the initial tapping blew my mind, insane riffs and, well, you got the funk! :D What did you use for the lead, Guitar plus synths ? .... Great entry man, good luck ;)

Funk is my bread n butter! Thank you very much. :) For the guitar leads, I'm using Bias FX as my amp simulator. I wanted to match the original as best as I could tone wise, so what I ended up doing was putting an octave pedal before the amplifier and putting the upper octave at 50%, bottom octave at 50%, and the dry signal at 0%. Ended up sounding pretty cool, in my opinion. Then for the first two versus and choruses I added some synth to further strengthen the melody and let it shine. Good ear!
