@@Dirty20 There are no nerves, but the shell is "fused" to skeleton. So tapping it is not painful, but in a certain degree equals to hitting someone in the back or ribs. Also this is why you do not pick them up by the edges of shell.

One fix, I believe the tortoises can’t get to the other side because it’s a bit too steep so they turn around. Smooth out the downward slope and they’ll be able to head over. Love your style man, keep them coming please!

I'm many years late to this series, I found you just by searching for Planet Zoo playlists. I just wanted to say how utterly refreshing watching your version of this series is. So many content creators I watched when the game released just hit the ground running with their Planet Coaster building knowledge to do crazy big wild showcases, but it's actually GREAT to see someone fumbling with the management and slowly building what they are doing. I can see I have many, many, MANY episodes to go but I can't wait to watch your progress as I continue through this series.

Really enjoyed this video. You got the cash steady. I love the turtle enclosure but I don't think the keeper or the turtles can get to the other side. I'm so excited for the grizzly bear enclosure.

I would suggest that you have the mechanic come every month, the fences get damaged often and if you dont have them come a lot then your animals will most likely escape.

I have two suggestions that helped me in my zoo. One was that I researched the first level of souvenir shops and placed a "Just a Memento" that brought it quite a bit of money and really helped early on when I wasn't making much of a profit. The second thing I did was create a walk in Peacock enclosure. And honestly its probably saved mine, the visitors love being so close to them so they end up with high moods and donate quite a bit in. I assume that would work with any animal that allows visitor gates though. Just make sure to put trash cans down in them. Just personal anecdotes but thought they might help.

MORE OFTEN! I like how in the beginning you lay out the plan for the episode. I like the timelapsing with your commentary, because some of the construction gets to be a bit of a grind to watch, so the more of that the better. Keep the commentary though don't dump it for music. Overall my favorite planet zoo stream yet!

Food for thought: What seems to work pretty well for my zoo, is I don't put anything in a work zone or assign anyone to any work zones with the exception of the animals and keepers. Each animal pen will have its own workzone with a pen, a keeper hut nearby, and it's own keeper. I do the same thing for each grouping of small animal exhibits. Once you start to get a larger zoo, you can also have a few keepers unassigned that wander around and fill in for keepers that are on break. But I find that assigning a keeper for each animal and having their hut nearby keeps the keeper close to it (to reduce commute time) and gives the animals enough attention so you don't get blasted with low welfare stuff constantly because they're waiting for a keeper to show up.

One tip Party would be for me at least is to not focus on one or two super detailed exhibits but rather getting many exhibits that can get more people which can make you more money. After that you can make the habitats as detailed as you want. I’m loving this series I just wanted to help. Keep up the good work.

Hey a little tip for your exhibits! It’s fine to move them against one another and intact if you set it so there is a scenery or blackout it’ll actually make the animals happier because it’ll be a more “private” layout.

An idea for the Pronghorn Antelope came across me after seeing the Galapagos is that you could make underground tunnels leading to different areas. Water would be in a different exhibit (Zone A), same with food (Zone B) and enrichment (Zone C). There could be a main connecting point with a viewing station at the connecting point and Zones A, B, and C.
