Getting the food supply from Janus back up and running to Footfall was kind of the main quest you got from the governor there, so I am a bit surprised that you didn't talk to him when you finally came back to Footfall after like 25 episodes.

As always, great episode. Just remember, PE, the mysterious event about the Protocol that raised your alarms ended with a sentence like "an enigmatic object delivered to the Rogue Trader's private room in Kiava Gamma". Maybe it's worth attempting to inspect this object...

When you return to Footfall, it might be worth to visit Vladaym Tocara again, as IIRC he offered his full allegiance to you if you resolve Footfall's food crisis. It'd be pretty neat to get Footfall as another colony, but straight profit factor or some other equally valuable reward doesn't sound bad either. Anyways, this playthrough has been wonderful,I will miss watching it after you wrap up in this alpha for sure and of course can't wait for the next one come the beta/release. Your style is really unique and your well reasoned explanations of your RP/tactical choices I'm sure are greatly appreciated by the rest of the audience as much as they are by me. I will also check out your past/future content as well, and if you're looking for suggestions, mainly judging from this letsplay alone I think you playing more x-com-likes would be a ton of fun to watch, especially in ironman mode. Specifically Xcom 2 with the expansion or if we stay in the Warhammer IP, Chaos Gate Daemonhunters with its own recent expansion ( skimming through your videos I haven't found full letsplay series' of these, only one-off anniversary livestreams ).

I think the new axe with bonus damage on righteous fury is a better choice, despite lower penetration and no brutal strike.

I love how they implemented your retinue to provide their strengths and weaknesses including that of the Rogue Trader. You aren't a one man army but a leader providing guidance and strengths to your retinue. They each appear unique in what they do both in combat and in the events.

Yes, you can chart a direct course between places you have discovered. I told you that quite a few videos ago. However you are limited by the number of Navigator points you have as you only get one scan per system you visit.

The author is quite confused about what a Rogue Trader's purpose is: his Warrant explicitly empowers him to trade with xenos, including artifacts, biologicals, maps and any information that may benefit the Imperium. There are plenty Traders that use xeno auxiliaries, xeno weapons on their ships and troops, and establish contact with xeno civilizations. Sure, xeno affiliation may be frowned upon by fanatics inside the Imperium, but that's irrelevant on board the Trader's ship, where he speaks with the Voice of the Emperor.
