Morung is an ancient Institute of learning the customary laws, crafts, dances, folk songs, narrations of folklures, War craft, a place where they sleep, eat and the amazing fact is the morung used to be near village gates so that they will be ready for battle when the enemies comes to attack.

Yes ao tribe is the first to accept Christianity but besides that they are somehow stylish comparing to other tribes.. Most humble tribe of nagas is the Angami tribe, majority of them lived in kohima, the capital of nagaland.. Admire Angami people alot, they are so kind hearted and once again so humble

In the Ancient Naga culture Morung plays an important role in every naga tribals village, its a place were all the male young and old gather together, taught the youngsters how to craft, work and war tactics, share the tribal oral history to past down to next generation, its also a place were all the young unmarried use to sleep together, guarding the village, head of the enemies that killed in the war were place in the Morung. Morung is the centre of all the Naga village.
