I could listen to him forever also , still breaks my heart to think about jeff and what he went through and what it was like for Lucas to go on all these years without him and and all the times they missed out on as farther and son smh that shut heart breaking smh his worse job to me was winning colors or his worse decision anyway because like Capote the trophy was on the wall , he won the Kentucky derby with a filly but he should have quit while he was ahead with her , i kinda understood why he ran her in the Preakness, I guess you gotta try but I thought running that horse in the Belmont was the worst decision in the history of horse racing, you could see the weight loss between the Derby and the Belmont, I remember thinking there's no way he would run her in the Belmont and to watch her go out and try like she did and stop as badly as she did was just sad , I never understood why he did that and still don't even after all these years because I wasn't one of those people who thought he was just a business man I thought he was a good horsemen but I've held that against him all these years lol I figured maybe the owners insisted or something and still didn't understand why he ran her because times were different back then lol you didn't see owners demanding things back then but who knows lol but again I could listen to him talk about the old days all day lol

Well he sure didn't mention Chuck Talifaro as his help switching from quarter horse to thorough breds and he did get the neck right on the thorouh breds but of course Quarter horse body type doesn't hold up....Once they pull a muscle or something with their legs not being permanently attached everything goes haywire and you know drugs can only cover up so much.... that's why his horses didn't run more than one good race, I should say his trainers he put out there, didn't get more than one good race out of them they don't last not like the old-time horsemen ( and I can vouch for the fact that the Farmhelp of WT Young's Farm weren't too happy with the way he sent their horses back to the farm crippled, so no other trainer could get them) There is a horse in John Madden's cemetery in Lexington, Kentucky that win 67 stakes races! That sure wont happen with quarter horse racing that's why they only run a quarter of a mile.....

@@CajunAdrienne Quarter Horses where developed from Fast thoroughbreds but are not delicate hybrid roses like thoroughbreds with the cold blood mixed in with them....if you keep using drugs on thoroughbreds they do not last long that's why these people that keep accusing Baffert of all these drugs and stuff are kind of wrong because a horse can't last through the gruelling Triple Crown being drugged but of course he's always got to get on the bandwagon and cancel everybody on the WOK Network it's called character assassination and they are vicious look at old Trump... look at the higher-ups with maximum security and Medina spirit

@@CajunAdrienne plus I believe Dewayne Lucas is a little lacking in the feet/shoe department.... quarter horses have different kind of feet than thoroughbreds.... "no foot no horse".... Steinman was a perfect example the toe on his hind feet were 2 in longer than the front feet and plus Pletcher learned from him and he just put down $8 million-dollar filly they had the wrong angle on her front feet caused her to break a sesamoid and when she went down she broke her neck and had to be euthanized

Blaine Schanavelt, Idaho man, is he still alive? Lord It's been a long time since I heard that, but you know something before you go calling Bob and Dewayne the best of all time you got to look at it this way TOO... they had the best horses and the good horses don't take a whole lot of training you just got to keep them happy and not sore and with the kind of clientele they had the money wasn't short so I'm sure they had little help along the way.... I don't know about Bob but I would question D Wayne a little bit.... I had to ride in the back of a van with several of his horses he broke down, he'd break them down so bad they definitely were going to the farm and nobody else was going to be able to train them!

I have met d Wayne at oak lawn park in hot springs Arkansas and I got a picture and he asked me to be in mr z's win picture if he won the south west stakes but it was canceled because of rain plus mr zayyat kissed me on my cheek lol
