Terlingua's famous son Storm Cat died April 24 2013. Great broodmare, great sire. Perhaps they can run the fields together again.

My boy is OurCageyCat :) Storm Cat's grandson out of Royal Cat and La Otra Nina, and he looks just like Storm Cat! He is an 03 baby and he raced for from 05 to 08 winning just about 30k. Not quite as great as his ancestors, but he did alright :)

Dialed In, trained by Nick Zito, is at this point (4/21/11) one of the favorites for the 2011 KY. Derby. The horse is by Miss Doolittle, a Storm Cat mare.

She died? Well I guess this must be an old video. But it was so nice to see her. I think Secretariat who I met many times is most often found in pedigrees on the dams side. I think that's the way Nashua stays in pedigrees too. Thanks

I'm a major Terlingua fan and have quite a collection about her as a racehorse and then later, with some of her babies. I wonder: do you know what happened to her at the end? I mean, I know she was old, very old, but this video was made about 10 months before she was euthanized and she was just fine at that time. Thank you. Abigail

From 4:40 onward she has what appears to be a surgical scar on her left cheek - as did Secretariat in his later years. Why was that?

@medic50646 I just wanted to ask, since you worked there: did anybody say anything about Secretariat's temperament? Was he the big jolly bombastic guy that he's been painted as or was it like trying to deal with Donkey Kong?
