If you already have enough crit you could use the cursed haste enchants I have on here to get maximum stats, since they give more than the radiant enchants but it will cost you some verse.

@Partywaffles I watched it 3 times yesterday. Understood more each time. Unfortunately, all my gear is versatility and haste. Some other dude recommended it. The crit and haste mastery build makes way more sense with frost dw. It needs those crits badly to start killing machine which is the entire engine of the spec

Have you tried DW Deathbringer? Everyone talking about only DW haste/crit build, but I find DW haste/mastery a bit better overall with everything allocated in remorseless dmg (+ howling blast, but not sure about this one yet)

Yeah it was my main build on the beta until they nerfed reapers mark hard core. Not worth putting everything in remorseless damage though since remorseless is used as our stun, not mainly for damage. If we make remorseless damage to strong it will break our blind too fast.

@Partywaffles the synergy between the talents and the herioc talents. Like the way you use your frost go with the wyrm as a stun into the winter as a stun. I reset my keybindings to make this go much easier and it is significant. Just that nerf to obliterate leaves most ppl with just enough health to take off, heal up and come back. But I saw great improvement in one day using this. I need to use chill streak more. I have to macro blinding sleet to empower rune like you did, and I just cannot get the death and decay macro cast at my feet to work. I've tried it over and over and over and I cannot get that to work smh. Biggest takeaway: How to string together a frost rider go. Using winter as a stun with the 5 stacks in the pvp talent

So the DW build is better than 2h now due to the nerfs right? Is a 2h deathbringer spec viable tho? And in pvp, how does the rider of the apocalypse perfom against deathbringer?

Yeah 2h is viable, it’s just worse imo because of the big oblit nerf. Rider and deathbringer are similar in viability with 2h. In a month when deathbringer gets buffed it’ll be better for 2h though probably.

Question @partywaffles Why use Razorice on your weapon when you have talents that generate razorice stacks anyway? Isnt that just a waste of runeforging? Could use Stoneskin gargoyle instead

Because you need it for shattering blade to hit massive frost strikes. Every time you frost strike it consumes 5 stacks for a big hit. Good for landing kills, the faster the stacks the more big hits :)

After a blind go, pillar of frost comes off cd 15 seconds earlier than blind. Do you wait 15 more seconds for blind to come off cd or do you just send pillar immediately with remorseless winter? It will be harder to get a "frost dk go" like this, but at the same time it does not desync pillar from frostwyrm's fury (so then you would have the frost dk go every 1.5min).

It’s situational sometimes you will, sometimes you won’t. For example if they have nothing left And a super clean blind to stun will kill them guarenteed you can wait. For the DW build its a lot of sustain so it won’t matter as much but for 2h builds you always want clean goes. You can also just grip dragon stun a go if you don’t have blind.

Can do either depending on the situation. You don’t need blind for every go you just need to use finesse and learn how to get them in every situation. That’s the skillcap of frost. Sneak a remorseless stun then use both grips to keep them in it etc

You can play it with haste mastery and just crit from tier pieces I’m sure. I’m going to be using my unholy gear and it’ll be fine :)

No because crit extends your pillar and gives you free oblit crits. You want a mix of both

Ye, it's not worth losing razorice stacks for it at all in PvP, I actually run gargoyle on my offhand and stack razorice with rime procs.

You're right you even get the full haste. Although I still think its worth it to drop your own DND, reason being because if the horseman runs away or doesn't swap with you, you lose the DND aura after 4 seconds and from my experience the horseman sometimes run to weird places. So the safe play is to just drop your own DND during the blind when you have nothing else you need to press and you have the global to get it off before you need to dragon stun anyway. That way you won't have to spend a global pressing DND during your pillar damage. Appreciate the feedback!
