She may have won twice, but in the eyes of a person with a working brain, she didn't deserve to win Heroes vs. Villains. Yeah, she was on the outs for one tribal council. Everyone was scared by the fact that she's a "two time wiener" to even think about targetting her. Her game in Game Changers wasn't impressive at all. She's a top one thousand payer but that's about it.

The jury decides and Sandra deserves the title... but I always hated the jury this season. Sandra sort of just lay low and it was her strategic failures that allowed her to get good with the Heroes while still sending them to the jury. It just wasn't impressive (unlike Sandra in Game Changers). Parvati in HvV? Holy fuck. That girl was enemy #1 with both tribes from Day 1. 7 of her 9 fellow villains immediately targeted her, and after the merge EVERY hero was after her, and even Russell backstabbed Danielle, the only person truly loyal to Parvati. Parvati fought tooth and nail the entire time, finding idols, making deals, manipulating Russell to give her JT's idol, using 2 idols at once, reading Amanda, fighting in the challenges. Parvati deserved to win.

It’s funny because you love the Sandra from game changers. Sandra wasn’t even playing to win in that season, she was play for her fans. She dominated because she’s the queen, which I agree, but she’s the queen because of the way she plays, not because she is loud and turns on everyone and then gets voted off for being in everyone’s face. The funny thing is, Sandra’s game works. She played it twice and won 2/2. You can not argue that her strategy doesn’t work, because it did. Sure maybe it wasn’t up in your face, I’m a big threat and yet I’m still here, but it was a very good game. She stayed in through many times she should’ve been out. Just because she wasn’t controlling the game doesn’t mean she wasn’t deserving.

All I know is if I was on the jury (of course I can only imagine, I've never actually played), I guess I would gauge on how well you played strategically, socially, and physically. It wasn't about flashiness that I was after, it was just the fact that Sandra had played a poor strategic game. In my opinion, she won more due to her circumstances. On the Villains tribe, she lay low under Rob's majority alliance, but due to Russell and Parvati's minority alliance tricking Tyson, Sandra watched her allies go one by one against her wishes. Past the merge, she told the Heroes the truth about Russell being in charge. She failed to convince them and she saw the Heroes fall too against her own agenda. She tried flipping to them to save Amanda, but Candice flipped to the Villains again and Sandra just went along with it. Wise move, honestly, but not super impressive. Her whole strategy was take out Russell but she never could. Had she succeeded, the Heroes would be in charge and she would lose the game. Russell, Parvati, and Danielle were supposed to rule til the end, but Sandra benefited from their implosion, which she didn't cause. Laying low worked and her amazing SOCIAL game won her the game, but her strategy was so bad and it felt like the pieces just fell perfectly for her. Sorry, I forgot, I have to give her credit for manipulating Russell to take out Coach and spare her and Courtney. For one vote, she actively changed things. I wanted to see more of that from her. Still, she won. Can't say she doesn't deserve it. I just wouldn't vote for her.

Matthew Enriquez I agree with most of everything you said, the only thing for me i Parvati was never really that strategic, I think she is just completely overrated. The only reason she wasn’t voted off immediately was because she saw Russell watching her and started shoving her ass all up in his game. Russell carried through many votes and Parvati did the same for Russell, their biggest downfall was their failure of a social game. Sure, this is a strategic and physical power duo, but both of them failed to have a working social game. Which is 2/3 of the components to win Survivor (physicality isn’t nessecarily one, but it helps!) I believe that a part of this game is to understand and work the jury, which Sandra did PERFECTLY. Yes, she was very lucky throughout the season, but what Survivor player isn’t? Luck is a huge part of this game so I don’t see the issue with that. And although I dislike some winners (like Natalie W) she still understood how to work the jury due to her circumstances, like Sandra did. Sandra understood that through her many, many strategic failures, she could use those and her gameplay to win through the jury. Which, in my opinion, is the most important part of Survivor: knowing what to say, when to say it, and how to put it through. On a side note sorry I didn’t make mine all nice and organized like yours, it was very easy to read and I enjoyed it, but I’m too lazy 😂😂

Her triple A threat status made her a target for both Villains and Heroes, so she had to play with the hand she was dealt and play with Russell, and she worked him so damn well. Her being overrated as a strategist? Completely agree, dude. Huge fan of her, obviously, but I don't think she has that next level strategic mastery that some players do. She's just extremely good at getting people on her side - it's how she was in the majority with strong ties to everyone in both Cook Islands and Micronesia. She's made some crazy good strategic moves, from blindsiding Ozzy to her double idol play, but you're right, she doesn't know the strategy inside and out. And you're right, Sandra knew how to work that jury. Granted, she was already the favorite going into the FTC, but I always found Sandra to be amazing at closing the deal and selling her game the best. While I think Parvati is the all around better player as a whole (forming alliances, controlling votes, winning challenges, etc.), one thing Sandra always certainly did better is rocking that Final Tribal Council. Sandra could always make you happy about voting for her. Parv wasn't even that good in the FTC in Micronesia, it's just that Amanda was terrible. Lmao no worries, we're on KZbin, not an English class. Bleh, I'm sick of getting graded for writing.

I think she had a strategic game she just didn’t know how to make it happen this time around. She has proven to have amazing plans and even expressed them a couple of times in HvV, but overall she was pretty on the bottom going with the flow. Parvati, on the other hand, was in the power spot all game (along with Russell) and I loved watching those two play! I mean, they just worked so well together. Russell would save Parv, Parv would save Russell, they both were huge threats, and made big moves. But I see them as lucky too. How did they knew JT would give him an idol? That the idol clue would be in Parv’s napkin? I’m too rusty on the season to think of any others, but you get my point. But I see Parv and Russell’s powerful duo was also their downfall. As they both had terrible social games and bumped heads many times. Russell voted off Danielle and Parv hid an idol from Russell as examples. Both of them trusted the other, but to an extent that kept shrinking. They were great for staying in the game, but not great for winning the game.

JT betrayed her when he got rid of Cirie. And Colby was in the Tom/Steph alliance not hers. Rupert is not someone to strategise with. Candice is a good strategic ally if you make her feel safe which Amanda kept doing the opposite just because she never forgave Candice for lobbying successfully to get rid of James because he was injured. Candice was right though. Nothing personal but he was injured.

To this day it frustrates me that the Heroes couldn't overcome their bitterness at the time and give Parvati her obviously deserved win. Sandra just told the Heroes what they wanted to hear while STILL voting them out each time, yet they didn't see past that for whatever reason, or catch on after the 4th or 5th time it happened. Sandra clearly never had control of the game. Robbery at its finest.

Older married Parvati can’t use the flirt card as much. She was good with rob and Ethan and Danni in the first episode but that was the only time she had power. I think they screwed up by voting out Danni instead of getting back on her side. I can't imagine Parv arguing that 'Sandra will be more loyal to Russell than she is to me'. What I don't get is why editors wouldn't want us to hear Parvati's thoughts on Sandra potentially defecting to the heroes? Am I just hearing things or do my questions make sense?

I know, as we all do, that winning survivor is getting that vote at the end, winning over the jury blah blah blah but it truly feels unfair this season. Parvati never had a chance. The heros tribe was only ever going to vote for a hero it had nothing to do with game play. Parvati has never been anything but a good sport but these guys were not being honest with themselves. She had no chance, she was targeted from every angle, she didnt even bettay anyone! She outwitted everyone who tried to get her off! She absolutely outplay, her social game was next level! It was so strong she actually had to leave an idol (according to her) that she found because it was better for her game not to have it! They chose Sandra just because they didnt want to chose a villian. Parvati earned that win and while Sandra is an incredible player, this certainly isnt her at her best, it's honestly probably her at her laziest. #justiceforparvati. Yeah he doesn't win because juries hate him, but you may very will win going the distance with him. That's what I'd do. Buddy up, recruit a few others and let him do his thing

@@othelo6499 no. Parvati sadly was carried whole premerge by russel and she was mean to the heroes at merge. She played herself at bad position where she had no control over who goes and she got screwed by russel voting danielle out. So no her only move the whole season was the 2 idol play and everything else was done by russel. She is overrated and had 0 control of the game. She even wanted sandra out but couldnt make it happen cos she had 0 control. She shouldve broken up jerri and russel duo before it was too late. She probably got the edit cos they wanted to make her "robbed goddes" which she wasnt. Russel dominated the season that is a fact

survivor best russell was so stupid tho he never realized he needs to manage the jury more bc he really thought jerri would vote for him to win but parvati knew jerri wasn’t gonna vote for him and she also knew sandra would’ve won but she couldn’t vote sandra out bc that would’ve forced a rock draw or a fire making challenge between russell and parvati making sandra and jerri in the final 3 by default and she would’ve rather take runner up over third place or at least make a compelling argument while still knowing sandra was getting the votes. she dominated this season and i cant believe you’re that blind to see it like i understand russell should’ve definitely won somoa but he didn’t learn from that loss so jokes on him

I had forgotten about those remarks she made about Jerri. I actually have lots of love for Jerri because it seems like she came back to play Survivor she had grown more as a person, and she still looks amazing! I hope Parvari realized when she saw her confessionals how catty she sounded and grows up a little because her time will come when she's not the youngest, prettiest thing going. I just hope whoever knocks her off her throne is kinder than she's been to most. If anything she came off sounding threatened by Jerri, ironically.

Jennifer Constantine I think they were both just being kinda playful and joking in their confessionals. Jerri also said in confessional that whenever Parvati was around her, she wanted to punch her in the face... I think you're taking their confessionals too seriously. While they may have been on opposite sides for a lot of the game, Jerri and Parvati both seemed to respect each other and their different methods of playing the game.
