Pisang salai is smoked banana, I think. It's similar to smoked salmon. Don't know why they smoke it instead of frying it. 😂😂

Morning DanAnna. Yes we love durians regardless of what type. The one you try is durian kawin (mix breed - married). Yeah Dan its okey to put the seed in yr mouth. Some malaysian eat same like Dan.

It's actually durian kahwin, but they spelled it to make fanciful. Durian kahwin could be nice if you get the best one . Durian kahwin is combination of two or more breeds

Kawin means mary. Durian kawin means hybrid (cloned) durian. Musang King is one of the most famous cloned durian in Malaysia. Currently the country no. 1 clone is Blackthorn, originally from a farm in Penang.

@@dananna8614 oh, ok Anna you buy maybe 3 metres or ask the seller how many metres are enough, bright cotton batik. Maybe you follow the design of the green dress you wore just now. Ask them for taylor in K . Terengganu or the ones in KL, preferebly, chinese taylor. The can sew better , or Malay also will do. Do not make it too tight, grin,,

The round thing is called nissang in terengganu or gula merah/brown sugar for cooking. The bigger size for cooking.. If u want to eat it alone get the smaller size mixed with coconut...

Usually durian doesn't attract beginners coz it's a very aquired taste,n there r so many varieties frm original to clone ones d taste is subtle frm one to another,to capture d taste is pretty much an art,once yur into it u get d real kick,until become a connoisseur of d king fruit,bunch of Koreans,Japanese, European nowadays hve developed d taste n liking fr it,good try guys kippidap, thanks for the nice vid

KAHWIN durian actually I think, crossed, grafted with another type of durian. Kahwin means married. You may not get the same taste next, depends on the durians they "marry"😅

Durian variety in malaysia : 1. Commercil durian - registered have name and code number e.g Musang King(D167), Udang Merah(D175), iOi(D168), black thorn(D200) - normally price/kg above rm30. 2. Durian kawin(married) - random merge durian sapling. - normally price/kg rm18-25 3. Durian kampung - durian tree grow from seed dont have merge sapling. Normally price/kg below rm16

@@dananna8614 for me as a malaysian like kampung/ kawin durian. -kampung durian normally strong smell, strong taste and big seed. I like eat with sticky rice and coconut milk. - if just want eat durian only i prefer durian kawin less smell and have more flesh .

I know how you feel Dan. That place could be more dangerous than a jungle. If my wife was given only 1 wish from a Genie, I would have to drag the whole Pasar Payang back home. P.S. but 1 souvenir should do no harm. Perhaps a little longer and loose batik shorts for Anna. As you go northwards you will be entering a more conservative area. I believe the people will be more comfortable with it.
