Kuala Lumpur, is known for its vibrant street food scene, hosts several night markets that are a feast for the senses. One such gem is the Pasar Malam Taman Connaught, located in the heart of Taman Connaught, Cheras. This huge night market, one of the longest in Malaysia, offers an authentic experience of local culture, food, and shopping that attracts tourists and locals alike.
Pasar Malam Taman Connaught is situated in Taman Connaught, Cheras, about 10 kilometers southeast of the Kuala Lumpur city center. It operates every Wednesday evening from approximately 5:30 PM to midnight. The market spans over 2 kilometers along Jalan Cerdas and can be accessed by various forms of transportation. Visitors can take the MRT to the Taman Connaught station and enjoy a short walk to the market, or opt for buses and taxis available throughout the city.

It's a 2 km pasar malam, but the longest one now is Setia Alam Pasar Malam, 2.4 km long.

Night markets food prices are on the high side nowadays, and the fact that you can't get a seat to enjoy your food there, makes the experience even more frustrating. I'd rather eat at a foodcourt or cafe as the meals are more filling, and portions are bigger too.😅
