That was just because my a7Cii needed sensor cleaning and I wanted the footage to look good. The issues I describe when only using af count for all cameras. I used the Sony for settings as more people use Sony.

Many of these autofocus problems are fixed... by not using Fuji. It doesn't seem like they care about fixing it.

No, not at all. The situations I show here are camera-independent. Fuji is mainly the jumping and problems eye tracking but that has nothing to so with what I show in the video.

On Sony couldn't you just touch to focus and then you don't need to change focus modes?

Only if you’re in AF-S and not AF-C as AF-C will refocus if something changes within your focus point.

Basically, don't rely on AF, because regardless of how good it is, it doesn't know where YOU *intend* the focus to be at any given moment.

I just turn off AF-C. Autofocus on video sounds amazing, but is rarely useful. Great video as a reminder to not use auto settings.
