I just want to say that Deputy Pini is awesome. My family got the chance to meet him and K9 Yogi this past weekend. He seems so level headed(even with being on LivePD) and he is so soft spoken. He was so nice and took the time to answer my questions(I probably talked his ear off), pose for pictures, and give us Yogi’s trading card. He made my day. I never got the chance to tell him thank you for his military service and keeping us all safe in Pasco. So if you’re reading this Deputy Pini,,, THANK YOU and we appreciate you and K9 Yogi!!

I want to know if Benecia followed thru with her promise to get some knowledge on Marcus Luttrell!! I’m a total sucker for our military and first responders. Currently have “adopted” a 1SG who is deployed in the Middle East. Never knew what, it’s lonely at the top meant until I adopted him. All of our K9s have one. Living in Florida does not allow for the K9s to wear the vests at all time due to the heat, and the rise in temperature from the vests.

Pasco Sheriff Awesome. I thought that maybe the heat & humidity would be an issue when it comes to wearing them but didn't want to assume. My mom & stepdad have mentioned the weather when talking about the time they lived in Zephyrhills. It gets hot & humid here in Indiana but not nearly as bad as y'all. So from watching this video and others with Deputy Pini and Carmack, it seems that K9 Yogi must not be as sociable as K9 Shep is because I have never seen you pet K9 Yogi nor did yall show him in this video. Is this true or am I totally off base with my assumption? Either way you do an awesome job with all of your videos and I thoroughly enjoy watching each and every one, so thank you for that!

Oh ok, I hope you know I totally didn't mean to come across in a negative way at all. I saw another video where you interviewed both Deputy Carmack and Deputy Pini before they were going on LivePD and I saw you with K9 Shep and he was licking you to death lol and then when it showed you with K9 Yogi, there wasn't any physical interaction at all. That's where I made my assumption from lol. You know what they say about assumptions lol.

What schedule do they follow? I don't understand when she said Dep Carmack works days and Dep Pini nights. Dep Carmack also works nights. Never heard of shifts ending at 2am. Guess I figured they work some version of a Pitman schedule. I know it seems weird that I would care about their schedule so much. It's because I would love my cousin to quit his sheriff dept and work for PSO. Since retiring his K9 he has a new assignment and like the hours better. Scheduling is a huge selling point if I am to convince him.

Pasco Sheriff So there's no set schedule that rotates? It's either days/nights pretty much? Maybe some variarion for fill-ins or something? I know my cousin would want to be back on patrol w/ a K9. He resisted getting a new K9 because they got a new head trainer and sees their K9 team going in the wrong direction. He's just not willing to put a dog at more risk than they already are.

All of the tracking and activity on a full stomach can cause serious medical issues such as Gastric dilation and volvulus syndrome, which can be fatal.
