Strengthening Equitable Access to Quality Higher Education in the Post-Pandemic Environment

What are the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic on Kenya’s higher education and what national policy action needs to be taken to better insulate the sector from future shocks? These are some of the big issues that were explored at the ‘Strengthening Equitable Access to Quality Higher Education in the Post-Pandemic Environment’ conference in Mombasa, Kenya, 30th to 31st March 2023.
The in-person conference not only offered a unique platform to disseminate evidence generated by research commissioned by the Partnership for African Social and Governance Research PASGR on access to higher education during and beyond COVID-19 pandemic, but also brought together diverse stakeholders to engage with the research findings and undertake policy dialogues around policy recommendations from the research.
