Well done Kris, a great video especially about when to use perfective or imperfective forms. I'm sure I'll come back to this many times. I've rarely heard it so well explained.

Your videos are very informative. You explain Grammer and alternative expressions and what is important to focus on. You do give me hope to be able to speak Russian one day.

Поздравляю! Через 6 месяцев - маленькая собачка... а в следующем году - ребенок! (так мы говорим во Франции: животное готовит появление ребенка)))

Ok, I know about the pronunciation of 'o' in Russian: it differs depending on whether it's stressed or not. I get it. But I hear you pronounce поработать in two different ways. Sometimes the first 'o' sounds clearly like an 'o', and sometimes it sounds like 'a'. Well, sort of. Why is that? Thanks for the video.

I think it's because she pronounces each syllable separately, when she says it in the actual sentence, it sounds as it should.

All very well explained but one phrase you used seemed odd to my ‘English’ ears. прямо сейчас мы будет обедеть. If it’s right now, why not just сейчас мы обедаем? Is this more like “we’re about to” have lunch?

I am so glad to see you are ok. I live in America, and wish no harm to Russia or Ukriane. Just so you know, anything that happens, I do not want toward the citizens of Russia, or Ukraine. Our current administration is just wanting damage to the two nations to cover the current president of the US and his son, extorting money from Ukraine. I hate all of it. And I do not want ANYONE in war. It's stupid. It needs to stop. I'd bet my life that the war between Russia and Ukraine was pushed behind the scenes, by the current US administration. I'm so sorry. But speaking on behalf of citizens to fellow citizens, none of us want or support it. If you ask me, Russia and Ukraine are firing in the wrong direction.... maybe they need to join together and look toward Washington DC? Call me crazy... but that's my thoughts. I'll probably be arrested for this comment.
