All senses contribute to our memories. Think about how many times a taste or a picture or a smell as well as music triggered a memory. Interesting, huh? As far as has been discovered, it has to do with the amygdala, which processes memory. I wish I knew more.

Interestingly, years after they did this video, Avi did covers of two of the songs that are back-to-back here. In 2017, as Avriel & The Sequoias while he was still in PTX, Avi covered Outcast's "Hey Ya!" with 3 musician friends and gave it a folk/bluegrass twist. Then, in 2019, he covered Gnarles Barkley's "Crazy" with friends gospel trio ReSound. I'd post the links here, but YT has been tending to delete my comments when I do that.

This is my favorite Mitch persona! It seems most like him in his mullet hair era. He is adorable no matter which stage or age. They sing this so well changing effortlessly, but never before you have time to recognize the song. They do these so well and at such a quick speed that it has to amaze. They still do justice to each song. I want an album of them singing all of these songs all of the way through. Maybe that’s a project when they quit touring or if they want a bit of a break. (A working break from touring) 🥴 Again, I appreciate how you appreciate PTX. I like seeing the two of you having fun. 🥰

This was the first of PTX's evolutions, from 2013. The others are "Evolution of..." -- "...Beyoncé" (2014), "...Michael Jackson" (2016), "...Rihanna" (2018), "...Arianna Grande" (2019). The 2021"90's Dance Medley" is a similar arrangement, but not an evolution because there are multiple artists.

Got your wish…🤭 sorry they do 1643 in another video. 😜 JK When it comes to your favorite. It’s OK to have one. They all have such different styles that I think it’s a matter of what style you prefer. Personally that’s Mitch for me. You will find that they always give you a little extra spice in their videos. Kevin and Avi were named the meat and potatoes during the sing off. They are the base that holds up the rest. They are also the masters at the transitions, as you will see when you watch more evolution videos. Absolutely agree with you about music bringing back memories. It’s called sense memory and there’s music that I can’t listen to anymore because they are memories I really don’t want to remember. Looking forward to more of your wonderful and amusing reactions of PTX. Sorry I only listen to reactions by PTX, Disturbed & Guy Sebastian, who you probably never heard of. Might recommend some of his stuff at a later date. Yeah I have a bit of OCD. 🤭 🤗💋🥰
