I think yes, but depending on the country you are targeting; if recognized sya by the country and company you are eyeing, then it could be an edge :) For me, I think its highly probable na nagcontribute sya when I applied and won a scholarship abroad! :)

I already had work while I was doing my CMA review, then later on proceeded to apply for a Master's scholarship. I think, maybe, the CMA certification helped a bit in obtaining the scholarship too. :)
