So what happens when I go and activate license and it errors out? Will it eat the license? I have your SPADE tuner for an LB7 and I can not get it to do anything. I know it connects because I can see the OS/Serial/Seed numbers and live data, but continuously get $0537 when trying to flash full. I accept I cant read it and dont care, I just want to flash at this point. Everything has been updated and Ive had almost every fuse pulled out that had nothing to do with ECU/OBD2. I have a used ECU I bought that came out of another truck but Im not sure if that will help at all. Any suggestions?

$0537 implies your ECM is locked with a Custom Key. It may not be possible to flash through the OBD2 port (or at all) if that is the case.

@@Duramaxtuner Ya I have given up on that ECU. I installed the one I had bought locally and unfortunately it is from an '02 LB7, with mine being an '03. I was able to get the truck started and driving, but my oil pressure gauge and A/C do not work. I was ok with the oil pressure gauge since I can always install another one, but I need A/C out here in AZ. I guess I will buy a reman'd ECU from an '03. So much drama just to put tunes on that I already paid good money for!

I have a 2003 LB7. I have to pull the radio fuse and the A/C controller. I hope it helps someone.

What fuse for ac?

@@cottonracing1 I pull the A/C module. The controls of the A/C and heater. That module seems to have programming in it and it won’t allow the flashing of the tuning.

If this is for a transmission tune or a 2010 + try Cal Flashing the tune instead of Full flashing. This option is listed after you select tuning tool and toggle down. Feel free to call us if you keep having troubles Scott 815-568-7920
