For me this is heaven, is just about as pefect as it gets for me. No one was putting out stuff like this in the 90s. Clarity is what got me into JEW.

Today is 12.23… to commemorate I’m listening to the band whose music influenced my walk this year (2024) all day. To the countless hours this concert alone has joined me as I researched and wrote my novel has been insurmountable and shout out to the podcast that inspired my musical pursuits. I am probably just some crazy fan to you,this band,but I can’t get over how magical my year has been and I have you guys to thank for all of it and then some!! My quest for change began with 555 in 2019. Then Place Your Debts challenged those changes. Took notes throughout your podcast episodes & Phoenix sessions, specifically, Clarity and Futures, helped me to see a way forward. Always remember if you end up reading this and I am inevitably not blocked lol that you guys saved a woman’s life who nearly took her own. You helped me see that there was a spark inside of me that needed recognition.

I love Futures. It came out the year I graduated high school. When I had my daughter in 2018 and ran through all the nursery songs to sing to her and was getting delirious with sleep deprivation, the next song I could think to sing to her was “Kill”. I still sing it to her now at 6 years old.

I was lucky enough to see them many times, but especially on the Clarity X 10 Tour at the Troc in Philly. 2009. Played the album in order, start to finish, then a short encore. Would love to live that day over again.

Futures was my first bought on my own album... picked it up at Walmart with my first paycheck and got a cd player.... damn good start to a beautiful musical journey 👌 yall kick ass 🎉❤💪

I love Jimmy Eat World, they're my favorite band honestly When they came to my city in 2017 i did not want to miss it so i actually went to their concert by myself 😂 It was a spiritual experience for me tbh and Incubus was there too ❤❤❤❤

I don't know why, but I love to watch this video when I'm stoned 😂 I love Jimmy, I'm their fan for a long time. And Jim is my inspiration as a musician.
