I think this is probably my favorite episode, thus far. It just feels so real or raw. It is assumed we all are struggling during this pandemic. But to hear our favorite musicians are struggling too really brings it to life. Thanks for the interview, Jim. Not to mention, I absolutely adore how Bethany curses but also still makes it sound eloquent and classy. It makes me like her more.

I like bethany's idea about trusting your path instead of getting yourself caught in other's plans.

I can't thank you enough for doing this podcast. It is truly inspirational listening to you every week, talking about real things with your guests. I'm always excited to listen, even when I don't know who your guest is. I love it. Thank you, see you next week Jim!!

This is my favorite episode so far. I have/had no idea who Bethany is, but I very much admire her honesty and openness regarding her process. This episode was the most for lack of a better term “therapeutic”. And yes, this podcast is so very much about songwriting! Fast becoming my top two favorite podcasts. Thank Jim.

The mix of Lucky Denver Mint they used for Never Been Kissed has a special feel to it. I listen to that version consistently to this day.

Thanks, Jim and Bethany! I love these. The mini dives have been awesome and the interviews have introduced me to new music, and really made me think and reflect too as someone who creates (not music) (but loves music).

Static Prevails is a great album. And like Jim said in the episode with Mark of Blink, nowadays things kinda need visuals to get attention. I really feel like that album is not as well known as it could be, but maybe it would be at least a bit more with cool videos.

Why does Jim look like a guy who would be casted as a moderately traditional father in the 70s who works some white collar job (not saying this in a bad way) yeah I know it's probably the look but now I'm listening to him it just gives a vibe xd
