Good to see them take the care to keep the mooring lines out of the water! Good practice to follow.

Happy birthday Alaska! I took this trip twice as the only passenger without renting cabin. It felt like the ship was all mine. I appreciated to see the ferry from the airport, did it too. Great videography job! And many unforgettable SE AK vacations.

Thanks for sharing this episode of your fantastic Alaskan ferry adventure! Beautiful scenery despite all the rain. This was an old ferry and they have kept the looks also inside from the 60:s. Reminded me of going to Åland in the mid 60:s with my parents. Especially the Wrangell Narrows was interesting. So tight to navigate for ferries like this and the little villages poping up here and there. Nice! Greetings from a this morning very rainy Gothenburg and have a nice weekend!

Can you tell me which town to get off in Alaska where I can drive without going into Canada? From Bellingham Thank you so much for any help you can give taking my mother in-law to see her son. Overlanding some of it. On her bucket list.

Its a nice ship but there is something nasty on it. My family and I took a trip In the Malaspina from Bellingham to Ketchikan in 2006 when we moved to Ketchikan, and the same trip down when we moved to Idaho in 2007. Both times within 12 hours of stepping off the Malaspina, we all had Norwalk Virus and were extremely sick. Last I heard, this ship was sold for pennies on the dollar to a middle eastern ship rebuilding company after she sat in Ketchikan for several years.

So much for ‘loving’ Alaska. Why they vote these imbeciles in, when the state has so many places that rely on water to get there.

Did you have a small layover why is there why did you have an arrival and a departure at the same Port
@JustFerries4 жыл бұрын
Various ports were served on this line. During these short stops we could leave the ship at our own option.
