Will PassCode impress me this time? You'll have to watch this HIGH QUALITY CONTENT OF ME REACTING TO JAPANESE METAL to find out. Though I have to admit, it probably would have been better with Tony Bennet singing.

Great reaction pretty much what I expected, I will say I went trough the same emotions at first, first time hearing Passcode didnt grab me too much, then I started loving Yuna the screamer and mostly skipped to listen to her parts and tought same as you that the rest sounded generic and samey. But after a while I started liking them more and more, it's just something that grows on you I think. The music has a lot of depth but takes some time to get into and you do start to recognize each of the girls voices after a while. They are now basically my favorite group along with Broken by the Scream. Which brings me to ask, can you please react to Broken by the Scream - Koi ha Otome no Nakidokoro. I was going to say exactly the same things. It took me a while to wrap my ears and brain around PassCode's shiny futuristic pop/metal, but eventually it clicked and now I listen to them a lot. Their recent "Live Unlimited" 3CD set is a blast. If you (Juniio) decide to check out PassCode again, a live video is the way to go. As for Broken By The Scream, oh by crikey yes. Just do it.

I don't really care about metal-idol movement in j-music, i've tried listen to some babymetal songs but can't really like the songs, but then passcode shown up and weirdly get my attention, i don't know, maybe simply because i like FALILV, they're like female-idol version of FALILV..

@@JuniioMusic To be honest im happy that you even liked it more, but hey if it doesn't work for you it's fine, you don't have to :3 You can try listening to Yukue Shirezu Tsurezure and Broken by the scream! Both are a heavier version and you probably gonna like them more :3 From Tsurezure (also known as Not secured, loose ends) I'd recommend Loud Asymmetry, Paradise Lost and Phantom Kiss. For BBTS I'd recommend Koi Wa Otome No Nakidokoro and oh! My! ME.GA.MI. NI koishiteru I hope these two are gonna click better with you :D

They are an electroniCore genre group, hence its their trademark sound. They use vocoder effect not because they can't sing but because its their sound.

It's like watching Cisco from the Flash review metal. Wild. From the style of metal and the amount of English they use in the songs (often entire sentences) I'm guessing they're aiming for a Western or even American audience, possibly trying to do what Babymetal did. Unfortunately, the heavy auto-tune did make it harder to appreciate, but not many people have the vocal power of Su-Metal. Not bad, but not quite my thing.

Completely agree with your thoughts about the song and the band in general, especially with the piercing sound, which is painful at times for me. Based on what I have seen you react to and the fact that you like DragonForce I would suggest Machinae Supremacy, probably because of the race game in the background. They are gaming metal band if there is one, have did game OSTs. Their most metal album is Rise of a Digital Nation and the songs still vary in stiles a bit. The whole album is pure gold but I could recommend Republic of Gamers as what you might enjoy the most.

@@JuniioMusic If you want a sound closer to Jinjer, you can check Infected Rain. Orphaned Soul and Slave to a Dream are great examples of their capabilities. Their frontwoman is a beast as well.

This borders on Pop Metal (if there is such a thing) and it sounds machine-made. Not doing it for me. SUGGESTIONS AND RECS! I suggest edibles as opposed to smoking. I recommend a number I just came across called "Blood Red Diamond" by a group that only made one album, Lost in Thought. Kinda reminds me of Sonata Arctica. I also sincerely (no joke) recommend "The Way You Look Tonight" by Tony Bennett, the video posted by Gui Brandão . If you're looking for depth of feeling, here it is.

Whatever this genre is, PassCode is the Limp Bizkit of it. Don't forget "Zenith," by Huntress. Solid, female-fronted thrash metal, and although their lead singer, Jill Janus, took her life late last year, this is one of their fun songs.
