Well, aside from the inevitable Babymetal (and other kawaii-metal groups) comparisons, it's obvious that some people don't get what this certain "kawaii metal" group is all about. Messy, annoying, not metal enough and the genre changes feel unnatural? If you want something that makes more sense (and in your opinion, better crafted) than this, then stick to BM and Fruitpochette. This group knows exactly what they are creating, and I don't think they should change a thing. They may not be impressive or pleasing to your ears, but they are definitely something different. In some ways, they remind me of a few avant-metal bands, e.g, they can be wild, heavy, pop, conventional, and above all, their experimenting can confuse a lot of people (even metal fans). And regarding their genre-switching, yes, most of it (not all) is random and it doesn't feel natural... but so what? That is just one of the things that makes them not only awesome, but also comparable to some noisy experimental bands... Anyway, you would prefer if they had a more straightforward sound that is easier to digest, right? Personally, I would rather they keep doing their own thing.

Look, I wanted to like this band. I really did. But, to me, the music is just... messy. It feels like someone who doesn't really understand metal was put in charge of a good chunk of it, which in particular seems to have led to the vocals being out of time with the instruments by just enough to irritate me, and then they decided to add variety by switching genres (can be done well), but the switch isn't handled in such a way that it feels natural. This song isn't as bad as the other two I heard, which vaguely reminded me of adverts for 'greatest hits' albums where they stitch together five-second samples from most of the songs while an excitable woman talks about 'The best songs of all time from [band], now exclusively available on limited-edition CD and itunes, just [price]', followed by the catchiest line the band's ever written just before the advert ends. I'll still keep half an eye on them, since the three songs I listened to got steadily better and thus, theoretically, they could get to something I'd like, but right now they aren't. Also, none of the members look like they could win in a fight against anything, or even order someone's execution, which I've always felt is something of a prerequisite for doing anything even vaguely metal-ish.
