A girl on boat I was on got really drunk jumped into Med I think her drunk friends threw life jacket out to her then went to bed.She was in sea 10 hours...She was sued by cruise company takes 22 miles for ship like that to turn it ruined cruise for everyone as a country was missed because of ridicules action.Dont get scared more likely run over by bus

This was a eye opener for me, I've been on 17 cruises so far, many times alone, I couldn't imagine falling off of one, but now i will stay away from the rails, and use a buddy system when traveling with others, its safer that way. Also i've learn that many people are coming up missing on these ships. Human Trafficking is real, so please take care of yourself when traveling, stay alert and aware.

One of these days we will hear "the rest of the story" and find out what really happened! My wife and I have been on 25 cruises and find all hand rails are more then adequate to prevent anyone from accidentally falling over. I am glad the person made it to safety!

Even if someone "bumped" or "pushed" you (accidentally or not), it's practically impossible. You'd have to lift someone up in order to forcefully make them fall overboard. And if that's the case, you're looking at a case of attempted murder. A lot of information is definitely being left out in this video. Most likely on purpose.

I've heard of people falling over the railings on the cruise ship before, but they were railings that didn't go into the ocean. So it is possible. I believe anything is possible-one just never knows and the ocean isn't a place I want to find myself in. So I will stay on dry land.

They have propellers but with a metal jacket looking thing on it so it can survive a rock and so they can turn both. Back propellers to make a narrow turn and they have 1 om the front left and on the fron right to dock docking thrusters so THEY HAVE PROPELLERS do your research i know it because im a huge fan of planes and cruise ships

To imagine this gentleman "fell" overboard needs a pinch of salt, a very ,very large pinch. A six foot tall 250 lbs man couldn't fall over board. The railings are built for safety. For sure there is a whole lot more than what is being narrated .

He wouldn’t really describe in detail how he fell overboard. And you ask someone who just brushed with death how exactly did they do it. I have been on several cruise ships and to this day I am trying to figure out how you just fall out of the boat. If you are following the safety regulations and being mindful, aware of surroundings and abiding the rules this shouldn't happen. Hats off to this crew and the passengers. I will continue to go on cruises but again I challenge everyone to stay focused, remain calm, follow the rules and self-awareness. Accidents happen but many accidents are preventable.

I like boats and am usually not scared of much I’m 13 and i have been on a cruise (i was too young to remember it) but that shit kinda scares me now i am a strong swimmer and am not afraid of falling in water but the thought that i could fall off the ship and just drift out to sea miles away from shore and slowly become tired and drown freaks me out

I don't like water much either, but when I took my first cruise & woke up the first sea day and only saw water, it was VERY relaxing. Now, I cruise a lot, spending a lot of time standing by the railing - just staring at the ocean waves, barges passing by, flying fish, occasional sharks or dolphins, etc.

It can be kinda freaky to look out and see all that water and realize your in the middle of the ocean, but you get used to it and it’s really fun. As long as you don’t do anything stupid or hang over the edge of the boat you will be fine! Just be careful!
