In this session i'm fishing for Carp on the waggler in what turns out to be a good session on the match lake at Passies Ponds.

What I love about your vids Alan is the look of joy in your eyes when you catch fish, be it a small rudd, a bream or a decent carp, you look as happy as you probably looked when you were a kid mate!👍👍👍👍👍 Not fishing related I know, but today I took my three rescue dogs to Seaford Head and saw a Spitfire flying overhead, it was a great sight and made me realise we live in a lovely part of Britain, and stuff like that was a bonus treat! Hi mate,I know I do get a bit excited that's how I see fishing whatever you catch as anglers we all know how tough it can be sometimes so I'm really grateful for any fish large small or whatever species it's just great to be out in the fresh air fishing.Hope your fishing is going well mate tight lines 👍👍👍

Never seen you plumb the depth Alan? Passies is quite full at the moment but still only about 3 feet deep! Very important you know the depth of water your fishing in, thanks again for another fishing adventure. Tight lines!

Hi Frederick, I plumb the depth on most occasions although sometimes i more or less know what the depth is so I set the float over depth and take it from there until I start getting the bites,on this session I plumbed the depth and yes it was around 3 to 4 ft deep as you say it is full and seems to be fishing well enjoy your own Angling mate

I've often thought about fishing a match but never have looking at the results it seems to be the same guys winning most of the time give it a go mate you never know you could do quite well

@@intercity735 I look at as a learning curve Alan. Used to do the odd sea match and by doing this and watching and chatting it improved my personal fishing catches immensely . I’m never going to win anything but knowledge is king.

@@stinkymuppet9207 Absolutely mate that's the best way of learning listening to what others that are more experienced say and watching others and some things you pick up yourself.The thing is with fishing there's always other anglers that do things differently to yourself it doesn't always mean they are right and you are wrong sometimes it's what works best for you that's what I find it's a mixture of of all of it.👍👍👍

Another great session Alan, I missed this one as I was poorly. Have you tried buying ready made rigs? I found them to be much easier when setting up. Look forward to seeing you on the river soon...👌

Hi David , glad you enjoyed the video although i never caught a Tench or Crucian I still enjoyed the session , as for ready made rigs I've never tried them myself but may do somewhen in the future I'll look into them at the time of writing this I'm actually up the river now having a look round making sure it looks okay for the 16th weather permitting I'll be on the river next Sunday.👍

Great video Alan Quick way to identify a F1 is they have no barbels round mouth area and they have a row of little black dots down their lateral lines
