Passing a Volleyball with the PLATFORM HOLD

Serve receive is a great place to get feedback from your body because after every pass there is a moment where we can pause and take a look at our structure and platform angle. It may seem awkward at first, but pausing for a second to hold after passing gives us instant feedback about the rep, and it helps us improve the rep itself by forcing us to strengthen our platform and keep our hands together through contact.

good video! can u make one on serve receive reads? i cant seem to get behind the ball or to get there fast enough, so i always get to the ball with a not-so-good platform

Oo that will be a tough one to cover. Getting better at reading where they are facing/a tendency/ the toss/server/point of contact will help a lot. All of this information is at the beginning and it gives you 75% of the info. The rest will be reaction/creativity just like hitting a baseball or catching a throw.
