Awesome stuff... My 7th grade team (only had 10 try out so kept all 10) isn't the most skilled but going to use this for defense for basic defense

I always have my club & collegiate team hit deep into the court to the right or left of the middle back defender. There is only 1 defender in the last 10 feet of the court. Scoring becomes easier when you realize the defender can’t possibly cover the entire last 1/3 of the court by themselves.
@umrobe628 ай бұрын
Well sure, but the blockers are supposed to be taking away those parts of the court. If the block is doing a bad job, it usually doesn't matter what the backcourt players are doing.

i have a qustion how can i see the defender hands when i hit the ball one the net [spikinkg ] i just see the ball when setter pass and i cant see the both the ball and defender hands
@fourathletes44 ай бұрын
I really don’t believe that is important! So many say this but 90% of the information comes before that … what’s the situation, what’s the set, what should the blockers do. Then you make the decision crystal clear and at the very end you see them reaching more you can maybe twist your wrist or extend your arm to finish the hit. I tell my players to know what to hit based on the situation. Then understand what the blocker would do with that same information. You’ll be playing chess not checkers 😎

i played a 7 ft setter and he could dump anywhere lol

Dealing with a 7ft setter is going to have to be its own video 😬

So, if the setter is in the front row, how do the 3 back row players position themselves in free ball? Does opposite prepare to hit from back row and the other 2 still split the court?
@fourathletes4 Жыл бұрын
The backrow wouldn’t move if the setters front row except if you have a big D ball presence. Then z6 and z5 defenders would rotate normally so the backrow right side could swing out and get ready to hit.
