Ma'am Thank you so much for all the tips. I registered for IELTS last august 27, took it September 3. I only had a week to do self-review and just binge watched tips from youtubers like you and E2 ielts. In my work as a nurse educator here in phil, I use english everyday as my medium of communication. After 4 days, my results were L: 7.5, R 7.5,W 7.5 and S 8.5 for a total of band 8. I was so happy i passed it on my first take. Now Im already waiting for the confirmation of my NMC application. Your vlogs are very helpful to us aspiring UK nurses. More power to you po.

@@benedictflores601 Sir E2 ielts youtube channel lang. Just watch their tips. Then sometimes have live videos and exams so I took advantage of that and their replays. Once you register for an exam they'll give you online review materials to assess yourself.

My brother studied languages at the Defense Language Institute Foreign Language Center in California. The pace of study was intense. Students had to master the language course in 36-64 weeks. Psychologically it was very difficult, but fortunately he was helped by Yuriy Ivantsiv's book "Polyglot Notes. Practical tips for learning foreign languages”. The book " Polyglot Notes" became a desk book for my brother, because it has answers to all the problems that any student of a foreign language has to face. If you are about to take General IELTS better to self review than going to review center. There's a lot of resources that we can used also if you choosed IDP as your test center they are giving free review course for all types of exam. I recently got my result last week,and all my hardworks are worth it. I did a self review just pure youtube university 🤣🤣🤣

I didn't have a specific channel to recommend but I found ieltsliz.com/ site helpful. I suggest you read more articles and take note of phrases and words from those articles, like literally take note and write it down on a notebook :)). I believe it will improve your vocabulary and help with your speaking and writing too! Then try to record yourself while trying to answer some speaking questions.

Hi, thanks for giving us informations on how to do well in our ielts exam. By the way, is there any possibilities that the ielts sample test in writing here in youtube will appear on the actual exam? 'Cos I find it difficult to clearly analyze and explain the writing task 1 academic even though I keep on practicing for so long. I mean I will not memorize all of it but to familiarise the graph, table and charts so that I'll know how to explain it in the actual exam. I think it will be different everytime but it's the same principle . It's basically asking you to describe what you see and highlight the trends, the highest or lowest. Or how will you explain it to a blind person, in a written form. I suggest you read more writing task 1 sample answers from ieltsliz.com website. It might help. 🙂

Just wondering if you don't mind, why the required IELTS scores are 7 except for Writing (6.5) for nurses in the Philippines? Is it because "writing" is considered as the most difficult? Can the host or anyone explain?

I think because the score of 7 for IELTS writing is like how professional writers do their essays which is not really applicable when working in the UK as nurses. And maybe it was not practical for them to be asking a score of 7 when it’s not really applicable and just causes delays for applicants. That’s just my theory tho 😅
