He's majesty Passo dello Stelvio, the highest italian asphalted road.
You have to do Stelvio Pass at least once in your life, there are so many U-turns that will makes you happy for sure no matter the bike you are riding.
On top of the pass can be crowdy since is kind of turistic, I highly suggest to avoid go there during weekends.

Yes, your approach to driving here, makes a big difference If your eyes zoom in on the road, you drive somewhat like on a race track. If you zoom out, you get to enjoy both the road and the scenery, at the cost of driving slower than the rest. But so what, you don't delay anyone, the locals know how to pass you.

Why you go down to 1st gear on the entry of the sharp turns after so high speeds? Isnt it risky for the chain to brake?

It’s not risky. I go down to 1st gear because sometimes, on very tight and slow turns, dct can auto switch down from 2nd to 1st mid turn. It happened very rarely but I dont want to risk it, plus doing this way i can have more exit speed

Ciao David, mi piacerebbe andarci e trovare una giornata con questo poco traffico ! Ci sono stato 3 volte, sempre a metà luglio ... delirio ! A parte questo, posso chiederti l'H1N come lo hai impostato (parametri) e dove lo tieni ? Grazie.

Io sono stato allo stelvio 3 volte ma sempre infrasettimanale, so bene cosa può diventare nel weekend e per fortuna sono sempre riuscito ad evitare. I parametri dell’h1n sono tutti alla massima qualità e il volume è sempre impostato a 3 e poi lo alzo in montaggio cosi non rischio di clippare l’audio altrimenti poi e irrecuperabile. Lo metto sotto la piastra del bauletto lato scarico bel legato con degli elastici spessi, direzionato verso lo scarico.

@@David_Drills grazie per la risposta. Anche io l'ho messo li, anche io a 3, tuttavia sopra i 100 orari inizia ad entrarmi tanto rumore di fondo, evidentemente la transalp è meno aerodinamica. Usi il parametro di taglio sotto 80 o 120 hz per caso ? Grazie. Io sempre andato infrasettimanale ma è proprio luglio il mese peggiore in termini di traffico. Una volta subito dopo il cartello fine Bormio sulla destra sono anche salito in uno sterrato e ho fatto diversa strada, poi ho preso un cazziatone e sono dovuto tornare indietro :D.

@@mcBiker tutto disattivato e ti consiglio di fare lo stesso, soprattutto disattiva il taglio automatico altrimenti è facile che l’audio esca strano. Io non ho rumori di aria neanche ad alte velocità, hai messo l’antivento col pelo si? In ogni caso il vero volume dell’h1n è da 3 a 10. Se abbassi ulteriormente abbassa il volume in maniera digitale. Quindi se l’audio a 3 è rovinato sarà rovinato anche a 1, solo più basso. Diciamo che 3 è il livello minimo di capacità recettiva dei microfono dell’h1n. Io lo tengo una tacchetta sotto il 3 giusto per sicurezza.

DCT and double declutching! I don't understand!

It's all done by the DCT controller. Press the downshift button, it disengages, blips the throttle to match revs for the lower gear then engages the next lower gear.
