In my opinion. A BMW motorcycle descending wanted to give way to a Yamaha. Unfortunately, the motorcyclist riding the Yamaha was driving very uncertainly and did not notice this situation.
@MotoAmateur Жыл бұрын
I think so too.
@TMAX500WHITEMAX11 ай бұрын
No, the Yamaha rider was a complete idiot. Only complete idiots lean on the side facing the valley. This is a mistake that many riders with poor riding skills make on hairpin bends. If he had leaned to the left, nothing would have happened. Apart from that, I would have just driven around the outside, but fear is always a bad advisor. I came to a halt in one of those bends on the far right, where it's steepest, and didn't fall over. I braced myself with my left leg and got back on without any problems. That's the difference between being able to ride and not being able to ride.

keep that GS rider away from me. I done this stelvio in August (busy) with 50kg of camping gear on the bike. Interesting one. I guess inexperience of those hairpins on both riders' part caused the accident. The FJR rider felt he needed a very wide line but seemed oblivious to the threat of oncoming traffic. The GS rider attempted to turn in to avoid a head-on collision (there was also a cyclist on the outside of the FJR which made GS man think going inside was the only option) but the manoeuvre only freaked-out the FJR rider! If you had to apportion blame, it has to lie with the FJR. Fortunately, it doesn't look as though much damage was done. We live and learn!

The FJR driver is driving on the left. He barely misses the bike when he pushes it away with his foot. The BMW driver probably wants to avoid a collision, so he runs away to the left. The FJR driver should have stopped before the corner if it was too tight for him and he had to move into the opposite lane.
