Kelly, great interview. Anytime you're Going to another country there's always an adjustment to be made if there's a language barrier or if there's in the can't speak english. You gonna have to learn their language. Are they gonna have to learn your language? So you can understand or use it. A shower is a Justice in any situation. Good interview, but you can see the shock of meeting an educated Black American in her face. There is a lot of misunderstanding about Black Americans and our culture that Asian society doesn’t see. It a very important point he made about disassociating some so-called Passport Bros. He was correct in sharing the concern these individuals DO NOT represent the positive side of (Black) Passport Bros. Unfortunately the bad apples represent the essence of the stereotypes we all fight against as we encounter non-black people around the world. So sometimes as many of us encounter people of other cultures we find ourselves being forced to react to negative behaviors directed at us in anticipation we are operating under the stereotypes about us. Kelly was probably left with something to think about as she could see he clearly did not fit whatever she had been told about Black men. I could tell from the discussion about food and restaurants he lives a richer life than she expected. She also had to work hard to keep up with him during the entire conversation. But in the end she did well! It was a great interview and my respect for Kelly increased dramatically!
