@@kingljproductions504 Yes, we have been here for 4 years. She has the green card so immigration wants residents to not leave the U.S. for over 6 months. Once she gets citizenship she can stay or move. If you bring a foreign wife to the states she has to have the green card for 2 years and 9 months before she can file for citizenship. It's a very very long process and many couples divorce. The pandemic has slowed the process down to a crawl, especially in Texas, but some states are quicker. I hate to say this but if I knew how crazy and long this process took I probably wouldn't have done it, especially at my age. Younger applicants can probably deal with it better though...😁

4 years of learning bits and pieces of Spanish here and there. I never sat down and studied on a daily routine. I would be far more advanced if I did but never really had time. Writing to people everyday helps a lot. I used Duolingo and a book I got off Amazon called Spanish phrases

A lot of dudes who are not ready for colombia are gona try this unprepared and half azzed. First thing is safety first, learn fluent spanish, how the average colombian gennerally thinks on the important things in life. And for me my biggest thing is they got to show me Gods love working in them and his character. They aint gotta be perfect but they gotta be legit obedient to God. And not just in a superficial surface level, half cocked , carnal minded jive kinda way as far as a foreign wife goes ESPECIALLY. But the same for American born, its a big difference and a game changer and in a very good way. That being said , to each his or her own. Just remember whatever you sow thats what your gona reap. Good, Bad or Ugly. Moving over there is a good move so you can see her and the culture day in and day out. A true vetting process.
