Does anyone remember Tony on Carson?Jonny would have a dictionary at a random page,word tony would give the definition. Tony was a wordsmith.

HAH HAH funny that Alan says take it easy on the road this holiday weekend as it is Late Spring Bank Holiday here in the UK. What holiday is at the end of May in the USA then? OH and I did feel sorry for the last contestant who was paired up with Audrey, as she and Alan totally ignored him. Tony being the gent he was, chatted pleasantly with his partner while the credits rolled.

Toni Randal used Fin which is french for End. Games pretty easy if you are allowed to do that.

actually it's "finis." were foreign words verboten?

He didn’t say “fin”, he said “finis” which is Latin. It’s a word used in English “legal” terminology. In Password, certain French, Italian and Spanish words which were in usage or in vogue at the time were also allowed. Some French fashion words, for example!
