Two great acting legends. I love Eve Arden playing Connie Brooks in Our Miss Brooks. Ray Bolger was the scarecrow on The Wizard of Oz.

@@akrenwinkle ohhhh I know why!! I corrected myself as someone said “lady’s?” so I corrected my self and said “ladies” 😂 I just re read the reply’s. I was so confused for a minute.

One of our greatest actresses. It's not that she wasn't unrecognized. She hardly could be. But she sure wasn't used often enough. She must be around other greats because her alarming mannerisms will steal every scene.

I thought Ray would say "Joy", as the scarecrow did, which was followed by, "rapture". The days of home video have made us more familiar with movie lines.

For credit, debit was the obvious clue. Not only rhymes, but is the opposite. Couldn't believe no one gave it. And for garbage no one gave the clue of trash ???? Even harder to believe.

I like the early shows where they are not playing charades with their hands. Eve had to give a clue for "face" and she's practically pointing at her face. LOL

2:40 occasionally one, I feel, sees bona fide psychic abilities on the show. Sometimes it's a stretch, but here (with Gooey) I truly think there may be psychic phenomena being observed. So cool.

It seems food waste for garbage was a much more prevalent usage in 1967 than now. Trash was usually considered dry waste. Today the two are used interchangeably.

Nope. In 1967 there were Credit Cards. For example: "Diners Club". "Carte Blanche" and some others. No excuse for the stupidity of the celebs and the contestants on this episode.
