Loved this so much. Also I have a theory about mitsuri’s husband. He’s a mobster. That’s why she paints him as powerful, because he’s socially and financially stronger than her, not to mention she literally move to a completely different country. She would have no where to go. She’d also get into a lot of trouble for trying to break it off with a Mobster as divorce could be taken as humiliation. Especially in their time period. I also think the naïvety she had is what her husband likes. Hence the “you know you like little girls” because her naivety could be comparable to that of a child(has no experience in actually dating men) She was also probably conditioned by her husband to think hurting your spouse specifically the husband hurting the wife as normal love. He probably love bombs her and she accepted it but it’s draining. Hence dark paradise and why she cheats. The husband probably accepts it and washes her with riches to keep her happy as well, again ties in with love bombing he probably does to her. That’s my take on her story
