Past Mi'kmaq Struggles, Treaties, and the Future

I am a proud descendant of some of the treaty signers. I am also a descendant Acadians with and without Mi'kmaw ancestry(some of which were those treaty signers I mentioned- Abenaki included). I will be making a complete report with full documentation that I will pass onto my cousins and their kids. I am almost 46 with no children as a result of shyness and anxiety of the trauma that crown wardship brought. I am happy to see a relationship between the people of Kouchibouguac and Keptin Augustine. We must not let the swarm of information burry our kinships.
