I wasn't reared around my Mi'kmaq culture. My great-grandmother was removed from that when she was 6. I often say that my parents and the Apsaalooke taught me well. But there are many differences from the Plains groups whom I have lived among my entire life and the Mi'kmaq. I appreciate these videos because I am learning so much about my own people.
