I made Kay's Chorizo Pasta (without chorizo), but I substituted bacon (without bacon)...surprisingly the recipe turned out the same!

@@tyaofficialva5394 She should have mentioned that then. I was picturing her having a problem with "Stuffed peppers" because those lighter shaded parts of the pepper would still be in those cups (that are stuffed). She said she didn't like them.

Kay better have a pig outside to feed them to. She's cutting off pepper just to get rid of them. They're "pepper" I'm tellin' ya. Okay, Kay. [Stopping at 5:50] If you're going to only dice them anyway, [I thought you were going need them in half shapes or something to fill up] If just diced, cut the top off [Go around the top-side with knife -- you can hold it in your hand -- even above the trash can/bin] The inside light fleshy parts are called the "pith." I reach in and pull them off with my fingers. Tap the pepper upside down against your hand above that bin. [Frankly, I set the whole bottom part aside - and separate that stem from the cap like my mother in-law did. She canned, pickled, froze them and everything. I learn so much from her (God bless her). You're going thru too much trouble. That's called the pith though. Cheers

Oh, I don't use the "pith." After setting that bottom part aside, I pull them off with the seeds and put them in the kitchen bin 2nd.

I’ve never used the seeds and veins in peppers either. Four vertical slices in a box shape around the pepper - throwing top to center away. I do use the entire stalk of celery, keeping the leafy ends.

Here's a nice vegan meal recipe. Wash and then boil red lentils until they're almost soft. Drain the lentils. Dice and then fry an onion until it's caramelised. Add the onion to the lentils. Pour a can of passata into the lentils. Slice up a courgette and add to the lentils. Rise a can of chickpeas and add to the pot. Mix in a heaped teaspoon of smoked paprika. Add salt and pepper to taste. Cook this on a high heat for 10 minutes. Stir regularly. Use Vegetable Atora, flour, and water to make dumplings. Once the stew has been on for 10 minutes, reduce the heat so the stew simmers and add the dumplings. Cover the pot, and allow the dumplings to cook for 20 minutes. Leave to cool for 15 minutes.

The white part of the pepper is called “the pith” last time I checked vegetables didn’t have veins 😂 But it’s probably better to remove that part anyways as it’s tasteless. Good effort none the less tho on the cooking 😊

@KaysCooking Please stop looking at videos, especially the few like that as your cooking will be so much better- I have noticed you do not like criticism -- that I can understand but please be wise enough to accept constructive criticism (there is a healthy difference). Most of these people on here are fans and really want to see you do better but you will never if you choose to only watch basic cooking RECIPES,.Please only watch teaching videos for cooking, if you refuse to change and grow and that's sad as the potential to cook far better is there.

Kay is such a sweetheart I hate the criticism your channel gets sometimes. You are always improving and doing what you love. A little tip if you see this Kay cook your pasta in the sauce you made for a few minutes it will get the flavours much more incorporated into the pasta. Cheers!

What is the white interior and can we eat it? Yes, the white interior is called the pith and it is edible. It doesn't hold much flavor and if you are cutting the bell peppers for garnish or adding it to a dish that requires pretty presentation remove

I love vegan chorizo pasta! 😉 Seriously, I'd make this. I love bell peppers. One of my fave pasta sauce is bell pepper based. If you have a blender i suggest you try to make it. It's delicious. Anywho, this is a great idea. I have some mushrooms and baby spinach that need cooking, so I'll add that into my sauce. Thanks for the inspiration, Miss Kay! 💚💚👌🏽

Good video, at first it looked very similer to the pasta we make at home but the more i looked the more I relized it was very different Penne pata similer sauce but different brand and I something other then pepers I forget what. still end result is looking very similer the more you look the more you relize the only thing they have in common really is they are an absoluty delicous pasta, anyways I know its kinda unrealted to the meat and potatos of the video but I just wanted to put somethng here as a way of showing support and as a way to increase engagement so more people get these great videos on there recommended page.

Hi Kay. My son and I love your videos. However sometimes we miss out on the action because the picture is zoomed in too close. It might work better if you set the camera at a distance so we can see the whole area. Just a thought. We'd love to see make a caesar salad 🥗
