Almost exactly how I make mine. I add a little ground red pepper in the beginning and Parma cheese to the sauce at the very end before plating. Awesome!

For the marinara sauce what kind to use
@1stGeorgiaGirl4 жыл бұрын
I use Kroger's brand straight from the jar. It's pretty good.
@calodo8 жыл бұрын
in 3:21 min is it special sauce tomate, or simply chopped tomatoes?
@ginobarbaro8 жыл бұрын
+calodo it is our marinara sauce. We have a recipe in our cook book. You can also use a prepared jarred sauce.

Yes, you can. Be careful and fold the filet. Try not to stir too much or else it might break apart. The fillet is cooked once it becomes opaque. You can also bake filet in the oven separately and then add in at the end. Visit www.ginosfamily.com and I have a video on making Zuppa di Pesce. Let me know how it comes out.

gino barbaro. If you add it in the end it doesn't soak up the sauce enough
@dannylucas75773 жыл бұрын
You don't use extra virgin olive oil for cooking, has a high smoke point. But you have given me some ideas for dinner.
@WonkaBiz Жыл бұрын
Fettuccine seafood. Solid name🤝
@dannylucas75773 жыл бұрын
I'm going to add some shallots, some kalamata olives, mushrooms, and red pepper flakes. Do a quick sear, remove from the heat, finish in the sauce. Smear some pesto across the plate, and top with some lump crab, and a little fresh parmigiano reggiano..

Wonder if I can replace scallops with salmon
@ginobarbaro9 жыл бұрын
You definitely can replace. I would cut the salmon in chunks, cook it for a couple of minutes before the shrimp because the shrimp cook quickly. I prefer wild salmon, but you can also use farm raised salmon Buon Appettio
@1stGeorgiaGirl4 жыл бұрын
Gotta have a sprinkle of Parmesan on top along with a drizzle of fresh olive oil.
@raya742 жыл бұрын
Oh no cutting in your pan could add scratched but that looks so bomb

Skip the marinara and go straight to the heavy cream.

Couldn't you just put the pasta straight into the sautee pan.. Less washing up
@jspell35396 жыл бұрын
What fish? You keep saying fish. Are you meaning shellfish that refers to the shrimp? You also have scallops so its confusing to me. Just asking!!!
@doublewide4204 жыл бұрын
Its not confusing you just wanna be a little whiny nit picking bitch.

I think the seafood is over cooked.
@lawrenceray35455 жыл бұрын
Very overcooked.
@Lepewhi4 жыл бұрын
I thought the same thing. Those scallops must be hockey pucks. And those 'shrimps', rubber.
@mckeesk3 жыл бұрын
the shrimps are going to get WHAT on you . . .?

@brandondavis10392 жыл бұрын
That's a beautiful dish you need to be careful, if that's how you normally cook you're exposing people to raw shrimp and raw shellfish which can be really dangerous! Hopefully no one actually ate what you just cooked!

hi Catherine You can email me pic at gjyarbaro@yahoo.com Thanks

You didn't carmelize the scallops most people like them that way...
@rolandodacuycuy56145 жыл бұрын
To me the shrimp is already overcooked. 3 minutes tops is all you need to cook thios shellfish.
@Nawnee145 жыл бұрын
The garlic is over cooked, the shrimp is over cooked & so are the scallops. Just saying.

It’s crazy how tacky this presentation style is now. The chef robe in a random suburban American home, amateur video style, and overall subpar cooking methods make this look over 20 years old
