The colour of the surface can have a dramatic effect of the skin tone... Green is a good colour it is a matter of trying out different ones and see what works for you... I like the grey as it desaturate the colours and I can make use of this in certain area. At the same time if I add a lot of pigment the colours really pop. 🙏

I started to watch your videos and I have the question how do you get your pencils so sharp, that you can make those fine strokes? When I use a sharpener, the chalk is breaking very often. I have Faber Castell colors too.I tried it with a cutter, but this also didn't work. I have bought an electric spiral sharpener now...the same...it breaks..☹
