@@carlosgarcia-wq4cw a kid that lived on brendan’s (main singer) block murdered his friend in the woods behind his house. he got inspired to write the song years later. he was also sent to a christian all-boys school because of the fear after the murder ( because he apparently listened to metal n was arrested w/ an AC/DC shirt on, people thought that was why he killed a person). because of that, he never got to experience a normal high school life.
