I’ve been in a downward spiral after a huge loss in my life…my husband died and I’m a widow at 47. Losing our unbelievably talented and beautiful Olivia yesterday has pushed me over the edge! I was almost 5 years old when Grease came out…Gen X here! Olivia was such a TITAN in my childhood. This cover was on my home page so I clicked on it and WOW! It seriously blew me AWAY! he's basically perfected straining his voice. Total opposite of an insult. Its extremely impressive seeing the strained notes hit nearly perfectly in tune, considering how much hes had to push his voice to get to the point of reaching the note. This man also shows that you can strain your voice and sound amazing and powerful, contrary to traditional singing rules frowning upon it.

Yeah it's a wonder how he's still able to sing He's incredible When I saw them open for black sabbath I thought the feedback was going crazy until I realised it was his voice and that was my introduction to rival sons in 2016 and that was the year I started singing trying to be like Jay or Bruce Dickinson or Robert plant but those guys are something else entirely

How is Rival Sons not a bigger deal? I literally had not heard of them until about a month ago. I just saw them live in Detroit this past Tuesday and they freaking blew the doors off The Fillmore. What an absolutely incredible live show they put on. LOVE this band. Jay's vocals and Scott's guitar playing are just at an unbelievable level.

I'll admit two things. 1. Olivia Newton-John has been my favorite vocalist/singer for forty-seven years-I'm fifty-four. 2. I had never heard of you giys before. Loved this rendition. I don't think most folks have any idea how hard it is for a great female vocalist to sing this song. For a great male vocalist, it's damn near impossible. You guys made a very long day most enjoyable at the end of it. Thank you!

I've seen Jay alive once in Brazil, in that time nobody knew that band that was opening to Black Sabbath, I was there and I can say they won the whole stadium with the first song they've plaied. Rival Song is the best band in 21th century.
