All I know is that I think both of the guitars use a earthquake devices rainbow machine for some of their self oscillation and I think I remember during one live performance It looked like the guitarist was using a boss phaser.

Without the audio engineers these guys would never sound as good as they do. The drums sounds perfect, and the balance between drums, cymbals, bass, guitar and vocals are great, give producers and engineers some credit too. But sure, on video it isn't really that exciting, but they do incredable work.
